Police are close to making arrests for the car bomb attack in front of the Poseidon massage parlour on Ratchadaphisek Road on Monday.
Royal Thai Police adviser Panupong Singhara na Ayudhya said yesterday police knew who owned the car and the identity of those involved in the attack.
The investigation had made good progress and police should have enough evidence to make arrests in a few days.
Pol Gen Panupong said dynamite was planted in the car and possibly ignited by mobile phone.
The massage parlour is a family business connected to Commerce Minister Porntiva Nakasai.
Pol Gen Panupong said police had also found possible links between two grenade attacks in Bangkok.

The attacks on the New Politics Party headquarters and TPI Building in Bangkok yesterday might also be the work of the same group, he said.
